A new chapter in the history of Huși vineyard

Modernizing our winery has been an ambitious four-year journey. During this period, we have rebuilt the historic cellars and implemented state-of-the-art equipment to ensure optimal production and bottling of sparkling wines.

In the process, we have preserved the viticultural tradition of the region and combined it with modern technologies to offer authentic wines with unique characteristics that reflect the terroir of Podgoriei Huși. Thus, our winery has not only been revitalized, but has also brought a new chapter in the history of the region, where tradition meets innovation.

We continue to dedicate ourselves to the promotion and preservation of local varieties, such as Busuioacă de Bohotin, in order to contribute to the development of viticulture in Huși.

Our winery is equipped with state-of-the-art technology, adapted to ensure an efficient production and bottling process according to the highest standards. The winery is organized into three specialized processing areas:

Wine bottling area: capacity of 6,000 bottles per hour;
Sparkling wine bottling area: capacity of 3,500 bottles per hour;
Can filling area: capable of processing 3,000 cans per hour.

In addition, the wine cellar includes an impressive wine cellar which houses 110,000 bottles of old wine, kept in optimal conditions for ageing.

Every year, we produce around 2 million bottles of sparkling wine using the Charmat method and 200,000 bottles of sparkling wine using the traditional method.

These capabilities allow us to offer top quality sparkling wines, available to consumers who appreciate refinement and winemaking tradition.

On a national level, our dream is to reinvent and bring back the brilliance of this wine-growing region, Huși, and to position Podgoria Huși among the most important producers of quality sparkling wines in Romania.

But VIA doesn’t stop there. At the international level, we want Huși to become an essential point of interest in our adventure to bring Romanian wines, including sparkling wines, to the attention of the world.
